Monotone
Posted by Snap! on May 8th, 2008

Monotone is all the buzz on WordPress.com, it was only a matter of time before themes such as this, i.e. focused specifically for the built in WordPress gallery feature becomes all of a rage. Though the segment that photo blog is small compared to those who (regular) blog, this niche will soon be significant with users who are discovering the media management improvements WordPress 2.5.x has to offer. This theme has it all, color changing background that adjusts contrast to present the image in focus at it’s best, changing width to optimize screen based on image size, overlay navigation and much more. If you run a photo blog, this theme is definitely the best you have seen so far. The theme was developed by Noel Jackson of eight6 and is not yet packaged for WordPress.org users.

Thank you for the compliments. I had a really fantastic time making this theme.
We’re still unsure of the .ORG availability of the theme. But as soon as I know for sure, I’ll make sure everyone knows.
