K9

K9 is more than just a K2 redesign. Developed by one of the developers of K2, this lightweight theme carries the feel of the original theme without the heavy backend. Unlike K2 with its inbuilt widget functions, this theme uses WordPress widgets and the only built in feature it carries from K2 is the custom header image function. The theme is coded with the average blogger in mind, it’s simplicity is quite contradicting to the more developer centric precursor K2. This theme works in WordPress versions 2.5 and higher; that should be motivating enough for some to upgrade! A must see theme with a lot of potential. The theme is developed by Zeo.
